CIS sponsors, local community leaders have a unique opportunity
to impact the lives of hundreds of children—both locally
in their community and globally in Sudan, Africa.
Local community
leaders sponsor schools in their community, to encourage
the students to choose good character and help the children
in Sudan, Africa. These sponsors donate funds to the children
in Darfur, Sudan, in honor of the local students' hard
work to earn Character
Merits. The sponsor's donation is tax-deductible
and 100% goes directly to the children in Sudan.
The local students
and community are encouraged by the sponsor's commitment
to the character growth of their youth as information
is released to the public about the sponsor and his/her
practice/business. Therefore, we release information to
the public about the sponsor and his/her practice/business.
There are also various types of media coverage for these
events ranging from press releases in The Birmingham
News to television coverage.
